This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for orders placed through our mobile application.


1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Cancellation by User

  • Orders can be cancelled only before the restaurant accepts or starts preparing the order.
  • Once an order is accepted or prepared, cancellation is not allowed due to the perishable nature of food items.

1.2 Cancellation by Restaurant

An order may be cancelled by the restaurant in cases such as:

  • Item unavailability
  • Restaurant operational issues
  • Technical issues

In such cases, the user will be eligible for a full refund.

1.3 Cancellation by Zenzio Food

We reserve the right to cancel an order in rare cases such as:

  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Technical errors
  • Violation of platform policies

If cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued.


2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligible Refunds

Refunds may be issued in the following scenarios:

  • Order cancelled before restaurant acceptance
  • Order cancelled by restaurant or platform
  • Payment debited but order not placed due to technical error
  • Wrong item delivered or missing items (subject to verification)

2.2 Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after order acceptance
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Taste preferences or personal dissatisfaction
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the user

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing time:
    • 5–7 working days for UPI / Wallets
    • 7–10 working days for Debit/Credit Cards
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.

4. Partial Refunds

In cases where:

  • One or more items are unavailable
  • Items are missing or incorrect

A partial refund may be issued after verification by our support team.


5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

  • COD orders are not eligible for refunds once delivered.
  • For eligible issues, compensation may be provided as wallet credits or promo codes, at our discretion.
